I no longer believe in "God"

Perhaps if we continue to use the word “God” we should alter it. Maybe: Godddd. Or: gODD. Or: Go(o)d. Some already use: G-d. The infinity symbol ∞. Goddddd∞.  

I no longer believe in God.


"God" is too small.
The word has lost its meaning.
I'll have to keep using it, because I'll confuse some people if I stop altogether.
But I propose to use other terms or expressions.
Such as, 
the Holy Mystery
the Source of life
the Power of Love
the Infinite Mind
the Infinite Spirit
the Universal Consciousness
the Sacred Spirit
the Holy One
the Eternal One
Holy Wisdom
Holy Wholeness
etc


Or, I may write "God" as...
Godddd
gODD [something odd/strange]
God∞ [with infinity symbol]
Go(o)d


The word God has become too domesticated and routine.
It conjures up the Old Man in the Sky image.
Or the Supreme Being.
But Godddd is way bigger than that; much stranger.


Any attempt to explain o describe Goddd is a lie.
Any argument about Godddd is blasphemy.
We have reduced gODD to an idea, a concept, a philosophical argument, a theological construct.


Perhaps when we speak of gODD we should not use words, but just a sigh, or an exhale. That gets close to the Biblical
sense of the Lord--the I AM--YHWH. [some people write G-d as a Hebrew Scripture anglicized sub for YHWH.]


Unfortunately we have to speak about the unspeakable.


So, I'm wrestling with the limits of language.


But the word "God" no longer works for me.
The term Logos has some value; as does Sophia [wisdom].
Ruach [Spirit/breath] might work.
I like the Jewish term "HaShem" [the Name].
And there is the Hebrew abbr. "Yah" [or, YaH].


I don't have the answer.
But I think speech about gODD need to be shaken up.

    I believe in the Cause that calls. There is a Voice… I live “as if…” (We all live as if.) God is not a thing, but a movement. To participate in the Movement is our calling. As Tillich said, God is “the power of being.” Which is to say: the power of life. God is life-ness. God is Being which is always Becoming. As Dante said, there is the Love that moves the planets and the sun and the other stars. Faith has a vagueness to it. We see in a vague mirror (1 Cor. 13). The ultimate reality is reflected to us in a fuzzy faith. A fuzzy faith. Gas lighting— fundamentalism— believe what I say, don’t believe what you see.
